Big C workshop a great success
On Monday the 13th of December, 2010, over 40 participants representing more than 25 consumer goods companies in Thailand attended a special engage workshop entailed "Maximize your ROI with Big C".
The feedback from the workshop was so positive that we wanted to share the workshop presentation.
The workshop addressed the implications of the Big C acquisition on their businesses and effective strategies for handling this, including the positioning of trade terms.
Best practice shopper marketing and customer management helps prepare companies for situations like this. By understanding who shops in which stores, global market leaders clearly establish the value of the activity they agree to in each store. Manufacturers can then better understand the growth potential that a retailer offers, and so can make better investment decisions. By matching investment to the potential value of each customer it is possible to construct a trade terms framework which delivers better returns on investment, and is defensible under any circumstances.
